The float is about 15 minutes. However, the entire event takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete. You will begin at Gracie's Canoe Camp to enter the Haunted Cabins, then take a short bus ride to Lazy Days Campground, from there you will take a hayride to the Haunted Wooded trail to walk through 3 different sections, the hayride will then take you to the river bank to your nighttime float.
You will not get wet unless your friends are really terrible at paddling the raft. Pick your friends wisely. Wear warm layers since it is starting to get a little chilly at night.
Absolutely! The tickets without camping for all the Haunted events are $25 and can be purchased online or at the door.
Check-in for camping opens at 3pm. If not camping, check-in begins at 7pm. We will take our last victims at 11pm. The flyers currently say 10pm but we are extending our hours beginning Oct 14th .
No children under 2 are allowed on the float. However, we do not enforce an age limit for the rest of the event. It is best that the guardian understand what the child is ready for. We do have strobe lights, lasers, blood/gore, and jump scares. Please ensure your child is prepared for those things. Also, things tend to be scarier in the woods at night. You never know what might pop out.
Everyone asks, "What will The Haunted Float be like? Will there be things in the water? Is anything going to come after us? Well...we can't give all our secrets away. I guess you have to come to find out.
